How is clinical yoga different to yoga?
The main difference between clinical and traditional yoga is the focus on safely supporting injuries and preventing further problems. With my background in Sports Therapy and Injury Rehabilitation, Abbey brings a deeper understanding of how injuries happen and, most importantly, how to help you recover without worsening things. Abbey has often had clients say they have tried regular yoga and felt uncomfortable or worried about specific movements causing pain to come back. Abbey wants to help rebuild confidence in your body so you feel comfortable attending classes. Abbey aims to ensure you feel completely safe and confident in every class. Abbey will guide you through each exercise, explaining how and why we’re moving in specific ways so you can better understand your body and its needs. Ultimately, Abbey wants you to feel empowered, comfortable, and confident as you build strength and move freely again.
