Abbey brings a wealth of hands-on experience, having worked with the Exeter Chiefs Rugby Club and at the Plymouth Half Marathon, providing sports massage to athletes at all levels. She has also volunteered with the NHS, supporting clients in managing pain and developing tailored exercise rehabilitation programmes to promote long-term health and well-being.
With over 250 hours of clinical practice gained during her studies, Abbey has developed expertise in a wide range of advanced therapies, including Kinesiology Taping, Ultrasound Therapy, Manual Therapy, IASTM (Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilisation), Dry Needling, Dry Cupping, Mulligan’s Mobilisation with Movement, Joint Mobilisation, Voodoo Flossing, and bespoke rehabilitation plans—including gym-specific programmes. Each treatment is carefully selected and tailored to meet your individual needs, helping to improve muscle quality, enhance performance, and support overall health.

Further Progression
Abbey is also currently undertaking an Integrated Master’s in Physiotherapy, which allows her to bring the latest evidence-based techniques and knowledge directly into her practice. This ongoing study further enhances the quality and breadth of care she can offer, ensuring clients benefit from a truly comprehensive and up-to-date approach to rehabilitation and wellness. Other Experience
Previously, Abbey worked with Tamar Saracens Rugby Club, where I provided exercise rehabilitation programmes, athletic taping before games, and pre and post-game massages to help prevent injuries. During her time with the team, Abbey gained valuable experience treating various injuries, including calf strains and tears, hamstring issues, AC separations, and many others. In addition, Abbey has contributed to charity work through the NHS and supported participants at relay races, further broadening my experience in sports therapy and injury management.
